About the Role

Shamrock Trading Corporation and RTS Insurance Solutions are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and optimize the day-to-day operations of our Commercial Transportation Insurance division. The Operations Manager will lead the Service Team consisting of Account Managers, Account Specialists, and Market Placement Specialists supporting the Producers to help grow our book.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in commercial transportation insurance and proven experience managing agency operations, quality control, service teams, building business relationships with, and insurance workflows. This leader will partner closely with Director of Sales and Senior Vice President of Sales to create scalable processes, drive operational efficiency, and deliver exceptional service to trucking and transportation clients.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the daily operations of the division, ensuring efficient execution of client service, policy administration, and renewal activities, develop, implement, and continuously improve operational processes that support growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction
• Analyze trends and identify opportunities to improve agency performance, productivity, and scalability
• Oversee policy servicing activities including endorsements, policy issuance, audits, renewals, certificates, and account maintenance
• Monitor renewal pipelines and servicing workflows to ensure timely execution and client retention
• Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers, underwriters, wholesalers, and agency partners
• Monitor market conditions, carrier appetite, underwriting trends, and transportation insurance developments
• Ensure compliance with agency procedures, regulatory requirements, licensing standards, and carrier guidelines

What You’ll Bring

• 3+ years of commercial insurance experience supporting transportation, trucking, or fleet insurance operations, along with operations management experience within an insurance agency, brokerage, MGA, or carrier environment.
• Strong knowledge of policy administration, renewals, endorsements, certificates of insurance, loss runs, audits, and carrier management
• Demonstrated ability to develop operational processes, improve efficiencies, and lead organizational change
• Experience with Applied Epic, AMS360, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Self-directed with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license required or ability to obtain upon hire
