Job Description
Plan and organize the execution of operations and related manufacturing support functions. Directly accountable to achieving planned levels of quality, output, safety, and delivery within budget. Participate in the definition of strategic objectives and ensure critical metrics (on-time delivery, cost reduction, overtime, inventory accuracy, quality, safety, efficiency, and productivity) are being met. Actively lead the continued adoption of lean manufacturing techniques to drive improvement efforts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to Crenlo Operating System and drives continuous improvement
- Drives Strategy Deployment – Develops break through objectives and action plans to deliver Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Drives productive Gemba walks and supports constructive solutions to obstacles, ensuring teams achieve daily objectives.
- Drives Daily Management – assigns ownership of critical path actions and ensures teams have what is needed to achieve their goals.
- Develops Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and action plans ensuring we achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost objectives.
- Develop capacity plans to achieve customer demand.
- Ensures the production plan is accomplished on an on-going basis in accordance with budgeted levels of performance.
- Hires, trains, coaches, and motivate supervisory direct reports and holds them accountable to achieve key metrics and budgeted levels of performance.
- Drives the quality process to achieve goals through problem prevention, process improvement, and tracking of critical quality metrics.
- Leads safety processes. Ensures that safety metrics are improving significantly year-over-year.
- Develops and maintains solid working relationships with cross functional teams.
- Plans labor and drive cost reduction initiatives to ensure that efficiency, productivity, and on-time shipment performance targets are being met.
- Leads the 5S initiatives in all buildings of Crenlo plant site location. Drives the process of daily audits from the top down to ensure cleanliness and organization goals are being met.
- Defines and executes strategic plans. Ensures that cost reduction and Kaizen activities are being utilized to achieve aggressive cost reduction goals.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations or Engineering required; will consider equivalent experience.
- 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing operations including management of personnel, experience determining operational processes within a metal fabrication environment, demonstrated leadership experience, and demonstrated lean manufacturing experience required.
- Must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and ERP solutions, Oracle EBS experience preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS/OTHER:
- Work Hours/Status: Full-time, 40+ hours/week, Monday through Friday, weekends required as needed.
