Job Description

The Mission

Grip enables global brands to operate high-volume, multi-market content production through automation, standardized workflows, and Digital Twin technology. As enterprise complexity increases across clients, regions, and production streams, operational control becomes a structural advantage.

The Operations Manager ensures delivery remains predictable, margins remain protected, and execution scales without operational drag. This role connects commercial ambition to delivery reality. You are the operational control tower across the Vertical — designing the systems, governance, and delegation structure that allow teams to execute at scale without constant executive intervention.

This is not an execution-heavy coordination role. It is a performance architecture and accountability role.

Requirements

What You Will Do

Own Operational Health Across Production Streams

  • Maintain full visibility over utilization, profitability, delivery timelines, and process adherence across multiple teams and regions

  • Identify early risk signals in capacity, margin, or client satisfaction before they escalate

  • Act as first-line escalation for operational breakdowns impacting revenue or delivery confidence

  • Intervene decisively to stabilize execution and restore performance

Drive Planning, Forecasting & Capacity Control

  • Build and continuously refine forecasting models to anticipate resource constraints and delivery bottlenecks

  • Align production, finance, and sales around realistic planning assumptions

  • Translate pipeline signals into capacity strategies

  • Establish predictable operational rhythms that reduce reactive firefighting

Own KPI Systems & Performance Accountability

  • Define, track, and evolve operational KPIs including utilization, contribution margin, throughput, and compliance

  • Detect negative KPI trends and implement structural fixes — not temporary patches

  • Drive performance accountability with Delivery Managers and Project Managers by setting clear expectations, decision rights, and measurable targets — while creating the structure that allows them to focus on high-impact work

  • Introduce reporting improvements that increase visibility and decision speed

Improve Systems, Tools & Operational Frameworks

  • Lead implementation of new tools, automation layers, or process upgrades that increase scalabilitySimplify fragmented workflows across geographies

  • Standardize operational best practices across production streams

  • Represent operations in strategic internal forums and client-critical situations

Who You Are

You are a systems thinker who sees patterns before others see problems. You combine operational rigor with calm authority. You are comfortable stepping into ambiguity and leaving it structured.

You Have:

  • 5+ years in operations, delivery leadership, or production management within complex, multi-team environments

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar Operations Manager or cross-team performance ownership role

  • Proven ownership of forecasting, planning, and KPI frameworks tied to revenue and margin

  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, finance, and production stakeholders

  • Experience leading Delivery Managers or equivalent roles, including performance calibration and escalation oversight

You Think:

  • In systems, not tasks

  • In leading indicators, not lagging excuses

  • In clear ownership boundaries and decision rights

  • In long-term operational scalability, not short-term fixes

Your Skills Are:

  • Strong analytical capability — you translate data into action

  • Structured decision-making under pressure

  • Clear, assertive stakeholder communication

  • Tooling and process optimization with measurable impact

Why Join Grip?

The Enterprise Shift.

Global brands are restructuring how they produce and localize content across markets. Grip provides the operational and technological backbone that enables high-volume, variant-rich content production with consistency and control. The operational models we build now define how far and how fast we scale.

The Operational Leverage.

This role influences how delivery scales globally. The frameworks you design will shape how Grip executes for years. You are not maintaining operations — you are defining the next version of it.

The Strategic Exposure.

You operate directly with vertical leadership and influence how revenue, capacity, and production intersect. This is proximity to decision-making, not distance from it.
