Your role as a Operations Manager

Key responsibilities:

NewCold is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to
lead warehouse operations at our McDonough facility. This role is responsible
for driving operational excellence, developing high-performing teams, meeting
customer expectations, and maintaining a strong culture of safety, quality, and
continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate is a proven operations leader with
experience in warehousing or logistics who thrives in a fast-paced environment
and is passionate about developing people and improving performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead
    and develop warehouse operations teams to achieve safety, quality,
    service, and productivity goals
  • Ensure
    daily operations are executed in accordance with company policies,
    procedures, and customer requirements.
  • Drive
    continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce costs,
    and enhance service levels.
  • Monitor
    operational KPIs and implement action plans to achieve performance
    targets.
  • Foster
    a culture focused on safety, accountability, teamwork, and operational
    excellence.
  • Manage
    labor resources and payroll costs while maintaining operational
    efficiency.
  • Conduct
    regular team meetings, shift handovers, and performance discussions.
  • Ensure
    compliance with housekeeping, quality, and operational standards.
  • Partner
    with site leadership to identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Prepare
    operational reports and communicate performance results to leadership.

Qualifications

  • High
    school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s
    degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related
    field preferred.
  • Minimum
    of 10 years of operational leadership experience.
  • Experience
    in warehousing, distribution, logistics, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong
    leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience
    managing KPIs, budgets, and labor planning.
