As an Operations Manager for Pyle you will be assisting in daily terminal operations involving P&D, Dock, Line Haul, Office, Recruiting and OS&D Department.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring the management of staff is consistent with Company goals and guidelines
  • Developing and maintaining cross-training materials, performance reviews, and ensuring the development of supervisors
  • Monitoring terminal operation statistics and encouraging improvement; fostering a spirit of innovative thinking in attaining goals
  • Ensuring adequate staffing levels throughout terminal
  • Developing, maintaining and improving current processes to ensure security of freight and personnel, while promoting and demonstrating Pyle Culture

To be qualified for this position, you must possess the following:

  • Previous LTL Transportation experience
  • Previous Management experience
  • Ability to work all shifts as required
  • Computer skills to include MS Office
  • Ability to Lead, Teach, and Mentor staff while enforcing Company Policies
  • Effective communication skills
