Operations Manager

Reports toRegional President

ObjectivePlan, direct, or coordinate the operations of an organization. Duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to) formulating policies, managing daily operations, hiring, and forecasting.

Essential Functions

  • Oversee daily activities that directly relate to the continual improvement of the organization.
  • Review financial statements, sales/activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity, goal achievement, and to determine areas that need expansion or improvement.
  • Manage staff and assign specific duties.
  • Acquire and analyze performance reports for direct report personnel.
  • Communicate frequently with Regional Presidents to provide information, updates, or to receive instruction.
  • Direct and coordinate financial and budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, and increase efficiency.
  • Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures, conferring with management members or other staff members as necessary.
  • Provide Human Resource support to include staffing, compliance, security, and oversee personnel processes such as interviewing, hiring, and termination of employees. Serve as Worker’s Comp Case Manager.
  • Assist with new store openings and all aspects involved in the process leading up to opening day.

    Physical Demands

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

    This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.

    Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

    Required Education and Experience

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Preferred Education and Experience

  • Previous sales and/or management experience
  • Additional Eligibility Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)
