The Operations Manager develops and leads Rentokil Boecker® operations activities at all levels: people management, team performance and development, client relationship management, resources optimization, and operational efficiency while guaranteeing Rentokil Boecker® value of Excellence.
Rentokil Boecker® Operations Manager is held accountable for the below job responsibilities:
RENTOKIL BOECKER® HOD ESSENTIALS
▪ Adopt Rentokil Boecker® vision, inspire and lead own departmental vision to achieve desired outcomes.
▪ Plan, develop and execute operations strategies that support and enable the achievement of overall company objectives.
▪ Set short term and long-term direction for the department with objectives and KPIs, through communicating it across team members, giving continuous feedback and support where needed.
▪ Organize, delegate and follow up assertively on departmental tasks.
▪ Hire, develop and motivate team members by molding, training and coaching them into star performers and cooperative teams.
▪ Build strong relationships and effectively communicate with management, peers and staff.
▪ Continuously improve department’s processes and quality output to respect Rentokil Boecker® value of Excellence.
▪ Control data integrity on all Rentokil Boecker® systems, forms and reports submitted by Operations team members.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
▪ Define Pest Management and Biosecurity business innovation objectives while understanding existing market needs and business gaps.
▪ Gather ideas to grow the Pest Management business using various resources such as market information, client insight, personal networks, etc.
▪ Cooperate with Sales Manager to always develop new opportunities fit for market and clients’ needs.
▪ Collaborate with Sales department to ensure geographical expansion and coverage of services within the country and set proper plans to relocate teams when needed.
▪ Promote Rentokil Boecker® Pest Management and Biosecurity systems and programs.
▪ Collaborate with Regional Marketing department and provide needed insights based on market assessment and changes in order to guarantee successful campaigns.
▪ Identify and participate in events and exhibitions relevant to Rentokil Boecker® Pest Management services.
OPERATIONS AND TEAM MANAGEMENT
▪ Ensure that delivered services are aligned with Boecker® Pest Management and Biosecurity standards and manual to guarantee client satisfaction.
▪ Set budget, review contract lists, forecast needed resources, and determine areas needing cost reduction and operational efficiency.
▪ Monitor the yearly schedule of appointments, establish a plan and oversee its execution in order to reach set KPIs and take corrective actions where needed.
▪ Control the consumption of products and the utilization of the human and technical resources to ensure high efficiency of the operations department.
▪ Assess new projects with the Finance team in order to avoid misuse of human or technical resources.
▪ Inform the Sales department on toxic clients to reconsider the price before the renewal.
▪ Lead the Operations Units members (both business and residential) and empower them to properly run the field operations from both technicians and client sides.
▪ Be highly involved with the Field Quality Assurance unit and drive it into being the pulse of the field operations in order to continuously enhance operations excellence.
▪ Guide Technical Engineering Unit and take their feedback into consideration when assessing new projects, technologies or treatment methods.
▪ Oversee technicians’ recruitment, training, evaluation, proper distribution within teams and promote their rotation in order to guarantee proper sharing of know-how.
▪ Manage and execute the departmental training calendar and monthly competitions.
▪ Analyze Operations reports (Call Back, Overtime Report, etc.), take appropriate action where needed and discuss them with internal stakeholders and CM.
CLIENT SATISFACTION
▪ Supply clients with relevant and latest Pest Management information via different media (e-mails, newsletters, info-leaflets, articles, Boecker® website, etc.).
▪ Collaborate with Client Service department on getting the information needed to consistently enhance excellence of provided services and work towards having Boecker® clients extremely satisfied.
▪ Examine cancelled and non-renewed accounts and take appropriate or corrective actions.
▪ Perform troubleshooting and courtesy visits and build strong relationships with clients.
REGULATORY RELATIONSHIP
▪ Network and communicate with legal concerned authorities on updates related to Pest Management
and Biosecurity legal requirement or new procedures.
▪ Develop a continuous flow of communication and cooperation with local governments in order to authorize Boecker® Pest Management services and products.
RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
▪ Research, suggest and design Pest Management Systems or training topics that Rentokil Boecker® might adopt and are fit for local implementation.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Agribusiness, Environmental Science or equivalent.
• At least 8 years of experience, preferably 2 years of experience in pest management at Rentokil Boecker®.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic.
• Knowledgeable in reporting and monitoring with remarkable attention to details.
• Effective decision making and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
