Job Description

A Day in Your Life at MKS Atotech:

The Operations Manager will manage the Production, Warehouse, Facility and Supply Chain. Be responsible for quality control in process, product delivery capability, reliability of equipment and manufacturing cost control.

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Set and implement the overall business strategy, with the objective of improving both market share and profitability include meeting corporate objectives for profitability and growth.
  • Lead the business unit in product management, design and engineering to support legacy products and to develop new solutions.
  • Meet & exceed customer expectations for product performance, including quality and reliability, supply chain, technology, costs and sustainability as well as continual reduction in cost of ownership.
  • Intimate knowledge of customer needs, which in some cases requires strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Supervise production activity according to production plan.
  • Work closely with Supply Chain team to ensure on-time delivery and reasonable material inventory level.
  • Responsible for utilization of warehouse space and high efficiency of goods movement.
  • Ensure all HSE policy/procedures are well implemented.
  • Perform HSE-S responsibilities according to HSE-S commitment letter.
  • Ensure OEE of all manufacturing facility, including all production lines, utilities, utility for office area and TC center.
  • Cost owner of all manufacturing related facilities and activities.
  • Responsible for planning and execution of CAPEX projects (small project for continuous improvement, replacement of old equipment etc.).
  • Promote culture of safety and Lean manufacturing.
  • Continuous improvement on HSE, Quality, cost saving and team moral via people development, optimize existing procedure and develop new procedure and implement Lean Sigma tools.
  • Manage production team, warehouse team, maintenance team, process engineer and supply chain.
  • Develop and coach team members to be more capable of their current role and future career development.

Skills You Bring:

  • Bachelor or above of Chemical Engineering or other related majors.
  • At least 10 years’ experience in the manufacturing management environment.
  • Rich management experience in chemical production, especially fine chemical industry is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and leadership.
  • Excellent occupational ethics and strong ownership.
