Job Description

As an Operations Manager, you will play a key role in driving operational excellence and ensuring alignment between global operations and business objectives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, business leaders, and external partners to optimize processes, manage resources, and deliver efficient, compliant, and high-quality operations.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Oversee Global Operations within defined domains in Nepal, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Drive cross-functional operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor and support junior team members and operational leads to strengthen execution capabilities.
  • Champion Operations OKRs, fostering ownership and accountability across teams.

Business Partnership

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the Country Manager and leadership team on operational risks, opportunities, and strategy.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships to influence decisions and support enterprise objectives.

Travel Management

  • Manage global travel strategy, ensuring policy compliance, cost optimization, and sustainability.
  • Oversee vendor performance, contract management, and travel risk mitigation.

Facilities Management

  • Lead facility operations in Nepal, ensuring efficient, compliant, and sustainable work environments.
  • Oversee maintenance, space planning, asset management, and day-to-day operations.
  • Develop preventive maintenance plans and sustainability initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and statutory regulations; lead audits and corrective actions.
  • Manage vendor contracts to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and reliability.
  • Lead facility projects (renovations, relocations, upgrades) with minimal disruption.
  • Act as the point of contact for audits, compliance, and operational reviews.
  • Collaborate with landlords, vendors, and stakeholders for seamless operations.
  • Support business continuity planning and infrastructure risk management.
  • Design and oversee a global F&B strategy to enhance employee experience and culture.

Events Management

  • Lead planning and execution of global and executive events aligned with company culture.
  • Define and track KPIs to measure event effectiveness and ROI.

Budget & Cost Management

  • Manage operational budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and compliance.

Culture & Compliance

  • Model and embed the organization’s Culture Code in operational practices.
  • Ensure compliance with InfoSec, legal, and internal control requirements.

Team & Performance Management

  • Lead teams through change, building resilience and accountability.
  • Drive performance management, succession planning, and continuous development.

Requirements

Competency Requirements

  • Strong expertise in facilities management, maintenance, and repair.
  • Knowledge of security systems, access control, and safety compliance.
  • Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Experience in vendor negotiation, contract management, and performance monitoring.
  • Ability to optimize space utilization and workplace planning.
  • Competence in sustainability, energy management, and cost efficiency.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Data-driven problem-solving and decision-making ability.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide and influence teams.
  • High integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to operational excellence.
  • Ability to manage emergencies and ensure business continuity.

Experience Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in an Operations Manager (or similar) role.
  • Experience managing teams of at least 2–3 members
