Operations Manager – Complex Care North West/Midlands
Competitive Salary + Bonus + Benefits (DOE)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Operations Manager – Complex Care to join a growing, values-driven organisation delivering high-quality complex care services across the North West. The organisation has a strong reputation for supporting individuals with highly complex needs, including learning disabilities, mental health conditions, and physical health requirements within community and supported living settings. With a focus on quality, compliance, and person-centred outcomes, the business is continuing to expand its complex care provision and is seeking a strong operational leader to support this growth. This is a key leadership role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving high standards across multiple services.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the operational delivery of complex care services across the region
  • Support and manage Registered Managers and service leads
  • Ensure services are fully compliant with CQC regulations and quality standards
  • Drive service improvement, quality assurance, and performance management
  • Support mobilisation of new complex care packages and service growth
  • Work closely with business development and clinical teams to ensure successful delivery
  • Monitor KPIs, budgets, and operational performance across services
  • Lead on safeguarding, risk management, and incident response
  • Promote a culture of high-quality, person-centred care

Requirements
  • Proven experience in an Operations Manager or senior leadership role within complex care
  • Strong understanding of CQC frameworks and compliance requirements
  • Experience overseeing multiple services or large-scale care operations
  • Background in complex care, supported living, or community care
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Commercial awareness and experience supporting service growth
  • Ability to travel across the region as required
