Hills Daniels & Associates is a dedicated personal injury law firm based in Louisiana, renowned for our commitment to standing by the side of accident victims. Our mission is to help clients regain their physical, mental, and financial independence after traumatic events. We take pride in giving each case the focused attention it deserves, intentionally limiting our caseload to ensure personalized and thorough representation.

Founded on principles of empathy and relentless advocacy, Hills Daniels & Associates does more than just handle legal cases. We build strong, lasting relationships with our clients, advocating for them in their most challenging times. This approach has garnered us a reputation for not only achieving substantial settlements but also making a meaningful impact in the lives of the people and communities we serve. We embody a client-first philosophy that is reflected in every aspect of our work, from initial consultations to final verdicts.

The Operations Manager role at Hills Daniels & Associates is pivotal in ensuring seamless and efficient law firm operations. This position is designed to support the firm’s mission by overseeing daily activities, refining processes, and enhancing productivity. Your leadership will directly impact client satisfaction, team efficiency, and overall firm success. With operational excellence at the core of our promise to clients, this role is crucial in maintaining and elevating service standards.

What you’ll do:

  • Operational Oversight: Own the day-to-day operations of the firm, ensuring workflows run smoothly, priorities are clear, and nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Reporting & Accountability: Build, manage, and maintain reporting around new cases, settlements, productivity, and key performance indicators (KPIs), providing leadership with clear visibility into firm performance.
  • SOP Implementation: Create, refine, document, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to drive consistency, accountability, and operational efficiency across teams.
  • Vendor Management: Oversee and coordinate with external vendors and service providers (including technology platforms) to support reliable and effective firm operations.
  • Performance Tracking: Conduct quarterly performance reviews and manage metrics tied to productivity, caseload balance, and team performance across the firm.
  • KPI Development: Partner with leadership to design, implement, and maintain a KPI dashboard that tracks progress against firm goals and highlights areas for improvement.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with firm leadership to align operational initiatives with strategic objectives, serving as a trusted partner in execution and accountability.

What we’re looking for:

  • Law Firm Experience: Prior experience in law firm operations is strongly preferred, ideally with 2–3+ years in a similar role supporting attorneys, paralegals, and firm leadership in a fast-paced environment.
  • Operational Expertise: Proven ability to build, refine, document, and enforce SOPs, establish accountability across teams, and create operational structure where it’s needed most.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable working in a Microsoft 365, PC-based environment, with the ability to quickly learn and manage tools such as RingCentral, Case Status, and Connecteam (or comparable systems).
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to build trust, earn respect, and hold teams accountable, setting clear expectations, following up consistently, and driving performance without ego or drama.
  • Resourcefulness: A true self-starter who takes ownership, works until the job is done, and can independently identify problems, propose solutions, and move initiatives forward.

Why you should work here:

  • Growth Opportunities: Enjoy opportunities for growth and advancement within a supportive firm environment that invests in long-term leaders.
  • Innovative Culture: Join a low-ego, highly collaborative team culture that values ideas, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
  • Direct Impact: Play a critical, hands-on role in shaping the firm’s operations, directly improving both client outcomes and team effectiveness.
  • Leadership Collaboration: Work closely with firm leadership, giving you real visibility, trust, and influence in driving strategic execution.

Additional perks:

  • Health Insurance: Access to health, vision, and life insurance policy, to support your well-being and peace of mind.
  • PTO: Benefit from flexible paid time off policies to ensure work-life balance and personal well-being.
  • Free Parking: Enjoy complimentary on-site parking to make commuting easy, convenient, and hassle-free.
  • Relocation Assistance: Relocation stipend available for qualified candidates moving to the area for the role.

We do it because we believe that in a perfect world, the best cases should go to the best attorneys. Our approach is to take everything we've learned generating massive growth in our own organization and help the country's most ambitious law firm owners do the same for theirs. We do this by equipping them with world-class legal video, relentless digital marketing, the top leadership & management coaching and workshop programs in the legal industry, and proven strategies to empower & align their teams.
