Part of the trusted NRMA Group, a member-owned brand, our passionate team works together to make holiday magic happen—it's not just our job, it's in our nature.

Ready to swap the ordinary, for ocean views, road trips and portfolio leadership?

We're looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our Parks & Resorts team on a 12-month parental leave contract. Based at our Coolangatta Support Office, you'll support a portfolio of holiday parks and resorts across the NSW South Coast, with regular travel to connect with teams on the ground.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll partner with Park and Resort Managers to drive commercial performance, elevate guest experiences and build high-performing teams. You'll provide strategic guidance and operational support across a diverse portfolio, helping our properties deliver outstanding results while staying true to the NRMA experience.

What you will do:

  • Lead a portfolio of parks and resorts to achieve great commercial and guest outcomes.
  • Inspire, coach and develop leaders to bring out the best in their teams.
  • Drive revenue, profitability and operational performance.
  • Turn insights into action through data-driven decision making.
  • Champion exceptional guest experiences across every property.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to deliver business priorities.
  • Navigate challenges, solve problems and lead continuous improvement.
  • Support safe, compliant and well-run operations.
  • Get out on the road and provide hands-on support across the NSW South Coast portfolio.

What you will bring:

  • Proven multi-site operational leadership experience within hotels, resorts, tourism, hospitality or holiday parks.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting and performance management.
  • Experience guiding leaders and influencing teams across multiple locations.
  • Exposure to Food & Beverage, conferencing or events operations.
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach with the ability to balance strategy and day-to-day operations.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills.
  • The flexibility to travel regularly throughout the portfolio.

What’s in it for you?

At the NRMA we aren’t just about discounts (although you do get these too). We offer benefits to help make work and life just right for you!

  • Progressive flexibility, leave and well-being benefits to balance all of life's priorities including 5 weeks annual and recreation leave.
  • Travel discounts on SIXT car rental, cruises, and accommodation at our award-winning NRMA Holiday Parks and Resorts.
  • Complimentary myNRMA Rewards membership including free Roadside Assistance & discounts on groceries, movie tickets, gift cards, gym memberships, attractions, restaurants and much more
  • Discounts on a range of NRMA personal insurance products including car, home & travel
  • Grow, progress or relocate your career and move around the NRMA Group or different locations with us.

Having over 3.2 million Members, we’re Australia's largest member-owned organisation, and have grown into one of the country's largest tourism, leisure, and travel businesses, with investments in accommodation, car hire, ferries, experiences and more. We’ve done this by putting our people, Members and customers at the centre of everything we do to deliver great experiences – something that has always set us apart.
