Park Inn by Radisson Amsterdam City West is a vibrant, colorful hotel featuring an integrated Amsterdam Congress Center With 476 rooms and 21 versatile meeting spaces, including a spacious ballroom that accommodates up to 700 guests in theatre style and a unique rooftop event area, we are one of the largest meeting and events hotels in Amsterdam

Located conveniently next to Amsterdam Sloterdijk station, the hotel is easily accessible by public transport and car. Designed by the renowned Karim Rashid, the property is part of the iconic VEN complex, sharing the building with Holland Casino, LimeHome apartments, World of Karaoke, and Restaurant Azura

You will learn to:

  • Support the daily operations across departments such as Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, and Engineering.
  • Work closely with the Management Team on operational and strategic topics.
  • Analyze operational performance (guest satisfaction, productivity, service flow) and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Contribute to projects focused on efficiency, quality improvement, and guest experience.
  • Act as a link between operations and management, ensuring clear communication and execution.
  • Take on Duty Management shifts, gaining responsibility on the floor and acting as a point of contact.
  • Handle guest feedback and translate insights into actionable improvements.
  • Support in planning, reporting, and optimizing operational processes.
  • Learn how decisions are made on a management level and how they translate into the day-to-day operation.

This role offers the best of both worlds: you will be hands-on in operations, while also gaining exposure to the strategic side of running a large hotel

Qualifications

Essential ingredients:

  • Currently enrolled in a hotel/hospitality management program (HBO level).
  • Available for a minimum of 6 months.
  • Strong communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Analytical mindset combined with a hands-on attitude.
  • Proactive, structured, and eager to learn.
  • Flexible and willing to work operational shifts, including evenings and weekends.
