  • Provide comprehensive trade support and lifecycle management specifically for Equities Derivatives, including options, futures, swaps, and exotic products.
  • Ensure accurate and timely trade capture, allocation, settlement, and regulatory reporting related to equities derivatives, including compliance with regulations such as HKTR.
  • Reconcile cash, trades, and positions daily with prime brokers, custodians, and counterparties; promptly investigate and resolve any trade discrepancies or settlement issues.
  • Collaborate closely with the Technology team to develop and implement process enhancements aimed at improving operational efficiency, mitigating risks, and supporting business expansion. Contribute to system upgrades aligned with the evolving needs of the business.
  • Monitor and manage operational risks inherent in equities derivatives trading activities. Work alongside Risk Management and Compliance teams to identify and address control gaps and improve operational processes.
  • Conduct detailed data analysis to support strategic decision-making and uncover trends in trade and operational activities. Assist in preparing regulatory filings and compliance documentation related to equities derivatives.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies governing middle office operations, particularly those specific to equities derivatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a middle office or similar role within an investment bank or financial services firm.
  • Strong understanding of Middle Office functions and Financial Products.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin
