Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains comprehensive maintenance plans, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.

  • Coordinates maintenance activities, collaborating with maintenance teams, customer and other stakeholders to prioritize maintenance tasks and manage workflow. 

  • Coordinates maintenance resources, ensuring the correct personnel and competences, tools, parts and other resources are timely in place.

  • Optimizes inventory management for maintenance parts and supplies to support ongoing and future maintenance activities.

  • Monitors and analyzes equipment performance data and other operational data to predict maintenance needs, support maintenance planning and prevent unplanned downtime.

  • Ensures compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements during maintenance operations.

  • Acts as a liaison between maintenance, customer, operations, and management to facilitate clear communication and effective planning.

  • Actively interacts with customers to ensure high customer satisfaction.

Skill set requirement:

1.Education qualification: Engineering degree – Electrical or Mechanical

Experience:

  • Overall, 10 years of experience with atleast 3 years of managerial experience in O&M of a powerplant.

  • Strong financial term understanding

  • Experience in customer relations & customer management

  • Experience in Multi-Engine Wartsila Gas / HFO Engine Plant in a managerial capacity

2.Knowledge requirement:

  • Manages short- to mid-term planning for a significant/multiple operational areas or contracts, contributing to site performance.

  • Exhibits advanced knowledge of maintenance planning, maintaining expertise and credibility in the field.

3.Innovation and Change:

  • Identifies and supports modifications to planning systems, tools, practices and processes.

  • Utilizes advanced analytics for operational insights.

4.Teamwork and Leadership:

  • Leads small planning projects or workgroups, planning and organizing resources to meet commitments.

5.Communication and Networking:

  • Develops and maintains key stakeholder relationships, actively seeking stakeholder input and acting upon feedback to improve planning.
