Mission:
Reporting to the Project Company General Manager, you will oversee the technical and construction aspects of the project throughout the EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) phase. Your primary goal is to ensure the project meets contractual performance requirements for operation and maintenance, enabling a seamless transition to the operational stage.
After the EPC phase, your responsibilities shift to include overall operational management of the Project during the operation stage.
🚀 What you’ll be doing:
1- During EPC Phase:
Lead and coordinate all technical activities of the EPC project stage with the full support of a dedicated Owner’s Engineer team.
Review design documents (P&IDs, process flow diagrams, O&M manuals) for compliance with operational requirements.
Participate in factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), and commissioning stage or ensure these tests are properly supervised and validated.
Cooperate with the Human Resources department to recruit the operation team as per the needs and within budget constraints
Provide technical guidance and expertise on STP processes (biological treatment, chemical dosing, sludge management, etc.).
2 - Then, in an Operation Phase:
Ensure smooth and efficient operation of sewage treatment plant and the other project components.
Supervise daily plant activities, including inlet facilities, treatment process, sludge management, and effluent discharge as well as the HSE.
Monitor process parameters and optimize treatment efficiency.
Implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
Manage annual O&M budgets, optimize cost-efficiency, and ensure financial reporting.
✅ What we’re looking for:
Degree in environmental/chemical/civil/mechanical engineering.
Minimum of 10+ years of total professional experience.
Minimum of 6 years in the operation of wastewater treatment plants and associated infrastructure such as networks and pumping station.
Experience in managing EPC projects from design to commissioning.
Preferable GCC Experience.
Strong knowledge of STP technologies and good backup with EPC project lifecycle, commissioning, and handover processes.
Fluent in English written and spoken.
Arabic is not mandatory, but is considered as a plus.
Deep understanding of UAE local authority processes and EHS standards
