  • Hosted experiences: Deliver engaging, high-quality sessions led by trained Goodera hosts who guide, orient, and contextualize each experience
  • Impact measurement: Track, measure, and communicate both employee engagement and social impact outcomes

As we continue to grow, Goodera is exploring avenues of expanding beyond volunteering into a broader suite of employee engagement offerings including team building, culture-building, and purpose-driven experiences.

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on, high-ownership Operations & Logistics Associate to join our Dallas warehouse team. This role is strictly focused on execution - handling the daily, ground-level physical operations of our warehouse.

This role bridges high-level planning with ground-level tactical execution. You will manage the physical lifecycle of our volunteer event kits - sourcing, sorting, assembling, packing, labeling, and shipping under strict event deadlines. Additionally, you will also drive local procurement strategy, inventory planning, and vendor cost optimization. If you thrive in an active warehouse environment and enjoy blending analytical planning with hands-on operational delivery, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

1. Core Warehouse & Kitting Operations

  • Perform floor-level warehouse tasks daily: receiving shipments, unloading trucks, inventory staging, bin replenishment, and organization.
  • Execute daily sorting, kitting, packing, labeling, and staging of volunteering kits and event materials.
  • Ensure physical accuracy against Bill of Materials (BOM) and packing lists for high-volume and custom event orders.
  • Maintain strict quality control on all inbound raw materials and outbound finished goods prior to shipping.

2. Sourcing, Receiving & Inventory Execution

  • Receive, inspect, count, and log all incoming shipments from vendors and local sourcing partners.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to maintain near-100% stock accuracy.
  • Execute local supply runs or quick-turn sourcing pickups in the Dallas area when immediate material top-ups are required.
  • Safely handle, transport, and properly store materials, bulk goods, and finished kits.

3. Shipping, Logistics & Dispatch

  • Generate shipping labels, packing slips, bills of lading (BOLs), and export documentation where required.
  • Coordinate dock appointments, driver drop-offs, and carrier pickups to meet rigid event delivery windows.
  • Track outbound shipments proactively to identify and resolve transit delays or carrier issues before they impact customer events.

4. Facility Maintenance & Process Adherence

  • Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and efficient warehouse environment standard (5S/lean practices).
  • Follow established SOPs for packing, safety, and inventory control, providing practical feedback to improve workflows.
  • Operate standard warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, hand trucks, taping/packing equipment) safely.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 3–5 years of direct, hands-on warehouse operations experience (kitting, order picking, packing, shipping/receiving, inventory management).
  • Location: Based in or near Dallas, TX, with reliable transportation for daily on-site work (and occasional local sourcing pickups).
  • Shipping Literacy: High proficiency with major carrier systems (FedEx Ship Manager, UPS CampusShip, DHL) and local LTL freight arrangements.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using inventory management systems/WMS, barcode scanners, spreadsheet tools (Excel/Google Sheets), and ticketing systems.
  • Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently, stand/walk for extended periods, and perform repetitive physical tasks comfortably.
  • Mindset: Extreme attention to detail, strong work ethic, high reliability, and a focus on accuracy under tight event deadlines.
