About the Company

The client is a specialized office equipment and printing solutions merchant located in Kinrara, Puchong.

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day business operations, focusing heavily on international logistics, inventory control, and supply chain efficiency for the printer ink distribution network.

Location: Kinrara, Puchong, Malaysia
Work Mode: Work From Office
Role: Operations Manager, Freight Management
 Remuneration Up toMYR 8,000

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily Operations: Improve internal workflows, track KPIs, and manage day-to-day business processes.
  • Logistics: Coordinate all international shipping arrangements (imports and exports)
  • Freight: Liaise directly with freight forwarders and customs brokers for smooth clearance.
  • Negotiate prices Negotiate transportation and freight prices
  • Communicate Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and customers
  • Solve problems Solve shipping issues and discrepancies
  • Inventory: Monitor stock levels of inks and components to prevent shortages.
  • Leadership: Supervise warehouse and operations staff to streamline daily fulfillment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
  • Proven ability to optimize business processes and manage operational workflows.
  • Strong expertise in sea/air freight and international trade regulations.
  • Proficient in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • Leadership qualities with a focus on team development
