Participating in the two-year program, completes learnings objectives during interdisciplinary rotations, leadership development tasks and mission focused activities. Coordinates and completes special projects while maintaining supportive interaction with leaders across all levels of the organization. Displays commitment to Adventist Health’s Heritage and Mission; deepens business and organizational acumen while gaining broad perspectives across teams and developing leadership competencies.

Job Requirements:

Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in healthcare administration, business administration or related field: Required

Essential Functions:

  • Coordinates development tasks and specific project mission focused activities. Coordinates special projects while maintaining supportive interaction with leaders across all levels of the organization. Develops business methods and procedures, including accounting systems, logistics systems, and production schedules.
  • Defines data requirements and validate information, applying judgment and statistical tests. Monitors the current system in operation and gather and analyze information about each of the component problems. Breaks systems into components, assign numerical values to each component, and examine the mathematical relationships between them.
  • Analyzes information obtained from management to conceptualize and define operational problems. Prepares management reports defining and evaluating problems and recommending solutions. Collaborates with senior managers and decision makers to identify and solve a variety of problems and to clarify management objectives.
  • Presents the results of mathematical modeling and data analysis to management or other end users. Demonstrates competency and understanding of activities within each rotation, including patient financial services, primary and specialty care operations, patient care services, etc.
  • Collaborates with others in the organization to ensure successful implementation of chosen problem solutions. Compiles, codes, categorizes, calculates, tabulates, audits, or verifies information or data.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
