About Client - Originally launched as an authentic Tex-Mex restaurant chain, they have transitioned into a retail consumer brand specializing in ready-to-cook global cuisines.

Today a top line of over INR 50Cr and Looking to cross INR 100Cr this year. They are looking for Operations Leader who will manage their entire Supply Chain (Post Manufacturing to Customer Delivery)

We are seeking an execution-driven Head of Supply Operations to lead our complete Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) fulfillment network. You will design the strategic supply architecture, manage vendor ecosystems, oversee multi-warehouse operations, and optimize last-mile delivery to maximize customer satisfaction while controlling bottom-line margins.

Key Responsibilities

Sourcing & Vendor Management

• Supplier Relations: Lead strategic partnerships with raw material manufacturers, packers, and suppliers.
• Contract Negotiation: Negotiate Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs), optimal pricing structures, and flexible payment terms.
• Capacity Mapping: Monitor manufacturer capacity cycles to secure manufacturing inventory ahead of high-volume seasonal spikes.

Demand Planning & Inventory Control

• S&OP Forecasting: Build analytics frameworks with category managers to accurately forecast market demand.
• Stock Optimization: Maintain balanced inventory levels to prevent both costly stockouts and excessive dead stock.
• Omnichannel Visibility: Oversee system reconciliations across platforms like Shopify, Amazon FBA, and regional quick-commerce hubs.

Fulfillment & Last-Mile Logistics

• 3PL Oversight: Select and manage third-party logistics (3PL) partners and courier aggregators.
• SLA Adherence: Ensure strict turnaround times (TAT) for Next Day Delivery (NDD) and Same Day Delivery (SDD) routes.
• Exception Control: Implement protocols to minimize Return to Origin (RTO%) and resolve Non-Delivery Reports (NDR) efficiently.

Systems & Process Automation

• Tech Transformation: Drive organization-wide adoption of advanced ERP, WMS, and OMS tools like Unicommerce.
• Standard Operating Procedures: Author reliable SOP playbooks to ensure scalable picking, batching, and packing accuracy.

Core Performance Metrics (KPIs)

• Cost-to-Serve: Landed cost of goods (COGS), freight, and fulfillment expenses.
• Order Accuracy %: Maintaining a target fulfillment error rate under 2%.
• OTIF (On-Time In-Full): Ensuring prompt delivery fulfillment success above 95%.
• RTO & Damage Rates: Systematically reducing customer product returns and transit destruction.

Candidate Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 5–10 years of proven experience handling high-volume daily shipments within a fast-scaling D2C, e-commerce, or FMCG environment.
• Technical Savvy: Deep hands-on expertise with supply chain planning software, advanced data analytics tools, and ERP integrations.
• Leadership Presence: Track record of mentoring diverse teams across logistics, planning, and warehouse divisions.
