We need industry stirrer-uppers

Specifically, Infrastructure & Operations Manager not boxed in by job title

The Infrastructure & Operations Manager is accountable for the operational stability, incident management, environment management, and infrastructure and operations oversight of the Bank GO and Mobile platforms. The role ensures high availability, rapid incident resolution, including RCA, and production readiness, acting as the primary operational point of contact with AMP Bank GO Service Owners.

This is a hands‑on operational leadership role combining platform operations management, incident and problem management, environment coordination, and vendor operational performance oversight

What matters

  • Accountable for problem management, identifying recurring issues and driving permanent resolution
  • Manages environment provisioning and lifecycle for Bank GO and Mobile platforms, including: Non‑production environment availability and stability; Production environment change management and release coordination
  • Ensures observability coverage is in place, including monitoring, logging, alerting, and dashboarding frameworks aligned to business OKRs.
  • Coordinates with DevSecOps for shared infrastructure, network, and platform services, acting as the operational interface on behalf of the Bank GO and Mobile team
  • Coordinates with BFCD&I Operations Team to ensure management of operational risks and issues.
  • Acts as a key escalation point for operational issues affecting Bank GO and Mobile customers
  • Oversees operational readiness for production releases, ensuring change management, rollback plans, and validation processes are in place
  • Manages the Engine partner relationship from an operational perspective, ensuring: Operational SLAs and KPIs are met; Incident response and BAU support obligations are fulfilled; Operational cohesion between AMP and partner teams
  • Contributes to vendor technology performance reviews and acts as an escalation point for vendor operational issues
  • Identifies opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve operational efficiency, incident detection, and platform management
  • Contributes to risk, compliance, and reporting processes, including: Bank GO scorecard operational measures; Operational risk events and control effectiveness; Disaster recovery and business continuity planning
  • Supports PI planning by providing input on operational capacity, infrastructure dependencies, and environment constraints
  • Accountable for establishing and maintaining a sustainable 24/7 support capability for Bank GO and Mobile platforms, including on‑call rosters, escalation procedures, and out‑of‑hours incident response readiness
  • Manages team allocation and support rosters to ensure adequate coverage across business hours and on‑call periods
