Our Client, a Karachi based company, seeks to appoint an experienced and seasoned professional for the following role:

OPERATIONS HEAD

Job Scope

To assist Installation Manager/Depot In charge for ensuring safe, smooth and efficient operational and administrative activities at location.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory with stringent control on product variation and custody transfer
• Oversee receipt and dispatch processes ensuring compliance of all SOPs, HSE procedures, to safe guard People, Plant, Process and Product
• Coordinate with Internal and External stake holders for resolving operational, safety and security matters
• Manage administrative and security arrangements of assigned location for smooth operations.
• Optimum management of manpower to ensure overall efficient, safe and cost-effective operation
• Undertake any other task or function as maybe desired by the management.

Education

• Minimum 16 years of education, preferably Master's from a renowned and HEC recognized university or institution/equivalent foreign degree holder institution, preferably in Engineering, Supply, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum 6-7 years of professional experience, preferably in a large national/multinational organization with at least 2-5 years of related functional experience in a similar role at an equivalent position.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience of excellence in oil depot/ terminal operations management
• Experience in reporting, analysis and resolution for resolution of day-to-day issues associated with inventory as well as facility
• Coordination with LEAS, local administration, emergency services to smoothly handle all situations
• Maintain working relationships with external stakeholders such as Carriage Contractors for timely availability of Tank Lorries to meet the daily dispatch demand
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills

Age

• The candidate should preferably be not more than 35 years of age as of the last date of submission of application.
