This is a part-time hourly position, without benefits, at the UNH InterOperability Lab in the EmBase Industry segment. The UNH InterOperability Lab (UNH-IOL) has been testing Networking and Communications since 1988. Fully owned by the University of New Hampshire, the lab receives 100% of its funding from commercial companies in exchange for professional and testing services. The availability of the position is contingent upon funding. This position will report to one or more of the UNH-IOL managers, and you will be assigned to your manager upon hire date.
This entry-level position will work with the Senior Operations Manager to assist with employee onboarding, salesforce oversight, managing employee reviews as well as assisting Operations Managers with reservation management.
Duties/Responsibilities
Customer Support/Reservation Management (70%)
Interface with customers from member companies to facilitate scheduling reservations.
Track technical questions from customers and coordinate with team members to ensure timely responses.
Generate ideas for improvements in customer contact (website information, call sheets, brochures, salesforce activities, etc.).
General non-technical review of customer-facing documents.
Assist with operation tasks during attended events (Plugfests).
People Operations Support (30%)
Administrative onboarding of new hires for EmBase technician positions.
Assist with administrative tasks associated with technician reviews.
Develop as needed, or improve existing process documentation and audits.
Requirements
Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience
High School Graduate or equivalent
Experience working with Salesforce.com or a similar CRM
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Technical writing and editing proficiency
Familiarity with Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides)
Strong listening and presentation skills, including remote presentations with Teams or similar
Ability to work both independently as well as a member of a team
Other Requirements
Available to work 20 - 30 hours

Compensation Pay Range
$14-$20/hour based on experience
