Company Overview Our client is a Premier, Market-Leading Packaging, Printing & Industrial Solutions Enterprise with a specialized manufacturing plant based in Nilai. Known for high-quality production standards and comprehensive customer supply chain integration, the organization is looking for a driven, hands-on Operations Executive to drive shopfloor efficiency, material flow optimization, and logistics execution. Position Overview The Operations Executive will oversee daily floor-level operations, material receiving, inventory accuracy, and outbound logistics dispatch . Acting as the central operational bridge between production, procurement, warehouse, and external transporters, this role focuses on removing operational bottlenecks, enforcing SOP discipline, maintaining stock integrity, and meeting fulfillment timelines . Key Responsibilities 1. Plant Operations & Daily Workflow Management Oversee day-to-day manufacturing support operations to maintain seamless, bottleneck-free workflows across production and dispatch lines . Monitor operational KPIs, analyzing production throughput, packing efficiency, and delivery performance metrics . Develop, implement, and audit Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational consistency and shopfloor safety compliance . 2. Inbound/Outbound Logistics & Inventory Control Directly manage plant logistics, including material receiving, sorting, protective packaging, QA/QC staging, and outbound shipping schedules . Maintain stock level accuracy through regular cycle counts, ERP reconciliation, and immediate root-cause fixes for inventory discrepancies . Liaise closely with external logistics service providers, freight forwarders, and inland transport vendors to ensure timely customer deliveries . 3. Cross-Functional Coordination & Process Improvement Coordinate continuously with Procurement, Production Planning, Finance, and Sales teams to align daily output with customer demand forecasts . Support cost-containment and resource-allocation initiatives by identifying and eliminating material waste, idle transport time, and excess operational expenses . Mentor junior line supervisors and warehouse teams, fostering accountability and adherence to operational standards . Requirements Education: Diploma or Degree in Industrial/Production Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related disciplines . Work Experience: Minimum 3+ years of progressive operational/logistics experience within a Packaging, Printing, or Custom Manufacturing plant environment . Technical Knowledge: Solid grasp of production planning workflows, warehouse cycle counts, material staging, and ERP/operations management systems . Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving capabilities, clear communication skills (Bahasa Malaysia and English), and strong cross-functional coordination ability . Mobility: Must possess valid driving license and own transport for site commuting in Nilai . Schedule Flexibility: Comfortable working in an active plant setting with a 5.5-day work-week arrangement .
