Job Description

Air Liquide Singapore Private Limited (ALSg), the largest and leading industrial gas company in South-east Asia, employs 800 people recognized for their high level of expertise to provide gases, equipment, services and packaged solutions to support the requirements of the Singapore manufacturing industry.

This role is responsible for optimizing production processes and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of Air Liquide's ASU assets in Jurong Island.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve reliability.

  • Apply advanced industrial engineering principles to identify bottlenecks, optimize workflows, and design innovative solutions for complex operational challenges.

  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for operational hazards, ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.

  • Oversee and troubleshoot technical operations, providing expert guidance and support to shift teams to resolve complex technical issues.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including E2E, Maintenance, Commercial and Supply Chain, to achieve operational excellence.

  • Prepare and present technical reports, analysis, and recommendations to stakeholders.

  • Mentor and develop junior engineers and technical staff.

Are you a MATCH?

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.

  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in petrochemical/gas or related industry with chemical process related operations/process and DCS panel operation experience.

  • Strong leadership, analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.

  • Able to commit to irregular working hours.

  • Good Communication and Presentation skills.

  • Experience in DCS Programming and Data analysis Skill will be advantageous.
