ABOUT THIS JOB
The Gigabit Business Framework is a new way of serving our customers with completely re-designed processes to provide “Gigabit Connectivity”. We initiated a Digital Hub to foster new marketing and sales processes in order to win customers before rollout of the fiber infrastructure is carried out.
This completely new business approach: allowing pre-sales activities, customer driven infrastructure rollout, real-time fulfillment in the case of connected homes and many more features are part of the product vision of so-called “Gigabit Business Framework (Gigabit Geschäftssystem)”.
We work internationally with more than 30 teams on the customer journeys and release all our product increments immediately into production environment. Our agile mindset enables us to start with minimal viable products and improve them according to customers & internal feedback incrementally.
Our application is hosted on AWS platform. Our production is running with more than 350 Microservices. You are part of one of Deutsche Telekom's largest and most exciting projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain high availability and performance of the production environment, ensuring quality and adherence to SLAs.
- Lead operational aspects of our DevOps team, managing a comprehensive suite of ITIL processes.
- Spearhead security measures, maintenance protocols, budget optimization, and access management.
- Drive the adoption of non-functional requirements to enhance system operability and monitoring.
Technical Landscape:
You'll work with an expansive tech stack that powers our application, including but not limited to:
Infrastructure Tech: AWS EKS Kubernetes, Pulumi for infrastructure as code, with automation through Golang, Python, Flux, Helm, and argoCD.
CI/CD & Orchestration: GitLab CI for continuous integration and Maven for build automation.
Database Management: PostgreSQL, Redis, Etcd, Elasticsearch for data storage and search capabilities.
Monitoring & Logging: ELK stack, Prometheus for monitoring, Jaeger for tracing, Grafana for visualization, ensuring comprehensive observability.
Security & Compliance: Vault for secrets management, Sonar for code quality, Trivy for vulnerability scanning.
API & Messaging: Swagger, Kong APIGW for API management, Kafka, AMQ for messaging, with HAProxy and Nginx for load balancing.
About You:
Proficient in our technical landscape, with a strong grasp of containerization, microservices, and cloud infrastructure.
Agile aficionado with a DevOps mindset, comfortable in a dynamic, scrum-based environment.
A problem-solver who's passionate about automation and efficiency, ready to tackle complex challenges.
Fluent in English, with German language skills as a valuable asset.
