
We are looking for an Operations Engineer to join our team!
We're seeking an Operations Engineer to be an inspired and safety-focused contributor to our Engineering team, supporting distribution system analysis, planning, and capital improvements to enhance customer service through storm-hardened construction as well as customer/developer-facing interconnection work. You'll help integrate solar, storage, EV infrastructure, and other DERs safely and reliably onto the distribution grid while balancing system performance, standards, and operational needs. You'll use your engineering judgment and experience, system modeling, and cross-functional collaboration skills to deliver timely interconnection decisions and grid solutions that benefit all GMP customers.

What we're looking for
This position requires electrical power experience, an engineering degree, and the ability to work independently and safely to prioritize tasks to meet goals and deadlines. Successful teammates are forward-thinking and embrace technology and collaboration across multiple teams. They also have the communication skills to work effectively and build relationships with many stakeholders, balancing multiple changing priorities to meet customers' needs.

Compensation
As part of our commitment to fair and open hiring practices, we disclose compensation. This position offers a competitive salary range of $75,000 – $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and the scope of responsibilities.
