Our client is an investment management firm based in Hong Kong with a pan-Asia focus. They are now looking for a seasoned professional to take on the role as Head of Operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations and work closely with off-shore operations team
• Oversee NAV, manage daily cash management and position reconciliation
• Support new product development and new fund setup
• Liaise with external parties, such as tax advisors, auditors, custodians, prime brokers, fund administrators etc
• Proactively review and streamline the operational workflow
• Ensure the operating procedures comply with regulations

Requirements

• University graduates in Business Administration, Finance or other related disciplines
• At least 7 relevant experience in an Asset Management/ Hedge Fund
• Strong knowledge in market practice, operational control and regulatory requirements related to asset management business and various investment instruments
• Advanced skills in MS Excel, VBA
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
