deciBel Research has an immediate opening for an Operations Coordinator in Huntsville, AL.

Position Description:

The Data Operations Coordinator will serve as an embedded member of the program team responsible for coordinating and facilitating day-to-day data activities across program tasking. The role provides the operational follow-through needed to ensure data requests, required inputs, production activities, and outputs progress from initiation through completion. The position serves as a central coordination point for data-related activities, maintaining awareness of status, dependencies, required inputs, due dates, and outstanding actions.

The Data Operations Coordinator will work across program teams to proactively identify missing information, follow up on actions, support data movement through established mechanisms, maintain accurate task status, and provide program leadership with visibility into execution. The role operates within established programs, Configuration Management (CM), DevSecOps, security, and delivery processes and utilizes the tools and infrastructure provided by those functions.

Responsibilities Include:

• Coordinating day-to-day data activities across active program tasking and maintaining visibility from request through completion
• Tracking required data inputs, outputs, dependencies, need dates, and outstanding actions and proactively following up with responsible parties
• Coordinating receipt and movement of data using established program processes, tools, and approved transfer mechanisms
• Facilitating required transfer authorization and other approvals by ensuring necessary information is available and coordinating actions with the responsible organizations
• Submitting and supporting related tickets and requests by ensuring they are appropriately routed, tracked, and followed through resolution
• Conducting task-level reviews to identify missing inputs, overdue actions, incomplete information, or other items that may impact execution
• Coordinating with appropriate program functions when established processes, approvals, or technical support are required
• Supporting recurring program status reporting and providing data needed for leadership reviews
• Maintaining action items and proactively working with responsible individuals to drive actions to closure
• Providing additional program coordination and administrative support as needed to facilitate execution and reduce administrative burden on technical and program leadership
• Identifying recurring coordination or workflow challenges and elevating them to the appropriate program function for resolution

Education Requirements:

Bachelor Degree or higher in a related technical field

Experience Requirements:

• Experience supporting data-intensive, technical, engineering, software, or DoD programs
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar task and workflow management tools
• Experience coordinating technical activities involving multiple teams, inputs, dependencies, and deadlines
• Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to independently follow actions through completion
• Ability to work effectively across technical and program organizations
• Experience compiling operational metrics, status information, and recurring program reporting
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify missing information, inconsistencies, and overdue actions
• Ability to learn and effectively utilize established program tools, workflows, and data-transfer mechanisms
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
