This is a role with real reach. As Koch Fertilizer Australia continues to grow, the Operations Coordinator role sits at the center of how we deliver, protecting product quality, sharpening terminal performance, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

No two days look the same. You'll lead quality variations end to end, build training that stops problems from recurring, and uncover efficiency gains to optimize terminal performance.

Working alongside our 3PL partners within our Principle Based Management® (PBM) environment, your impact will come from the relationships you build and how clearly, you bring people with you.

We are looking for a collaborative, hands-on approach, and a focus on where you can add the most value to the team, the business and our partnerships.

Our Team

We are a small team, and every role plays an important part in how we deliver for our customers. Your contribution will be valued and visible. You will be part of the Operations Team, reporting to the GM Operations, working closely with Supply and Capacity Planning, Marketers, Customer Experience, and our 3PL partners to support quality, training and terminal optimization initiatives.

What You Will Do

• Prepare KPI reporting and provide timely, accurate communication to customer-facing teams and stakeholders.
• Manage quality variations from initial reporting through to investigation, resolution, monitoring and closure.
• Develop and maintain training programs that build capability across the network and prevent recurrence.
• Identify and drive terminal optimization and efficiency improvements across all sites.
• Partner with our 3PL providers to define opportunities, problem solve, implement solutions and measure the value created.
• Support our commitment to consistent, high quality products and exceptional customer experience.
• Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of quality systems, processes, and operational standards.
• Travel to terminals as required to support continuous improvement initiatives and build strong working relationships.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Proficiency with quality management systems and standard business software applications.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the credibility to influence outcomes across partner organizations.
• A methodical approach to problem solving and root cause analysis.
• Experience in operations, supply chain, quality or terminal environments.
• A bias for improvement - you notice what others walk past, and you see it through to a measured result.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Experience in distribution, supply chain, fertiliser, or bulk-handling environments.
• Formal qualification in Quality Management, Training & Assessment (e.g. Cert IV TAE), Business, or a related discipline.
• Familiarity with Principle Based Management® or a comparable values-based operating framework.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
