We are seeking a full-time Operations Coordinator to assist our team in Long Island City, New York. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manages the card desk and daily order flow, ensuring orders are reviewed, prioritized, and routed appropriately based on timing, design requirements, delivery needs, and business priorities.
  • Triages incoming orders and coordinates with Designers, Sales, Customer Service, Operations, and other internal teams to address questions, clarify details, and ensure orders are properly assigned and progressing on schedule
  • Supports team members by providing guidance, sharing knowledge, and helping maintain a productive and collaborative work environment.
  • Coordinates day-to-day operational activities for the Winston Flowers Long Island City Design Studio, helping ensure workflows, priorities, and schedules run smoothly.
  • Acts as point of contact for all internal deliveries of product between Boston to LIC Studio
  • Leads coordination of all logistics surrounding LIC and Greenwich Events, including timely proposal management, all necessary facilitation with internal company departments, outside vendor/venue contacts, plan appropriate staff resources
  • Helps ensure operational processes, best practices, and company standards are consistently followed, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Provides outstanding customer service and contribute to sales volume growth by efficient and detail-oriented day-to-day operations management, and resolving customer questions and concerns in The Winston Way as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Experience in luxury retail or hospitality industry preferred
  • Professional or personal experience in floriculture, horticulture, and/or design is preferred
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members, support business needs, and contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively while paying close attention to detail
  • High level of enthusiasm and self-motivation
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
