The Opportunity

We are seeking a proactive, reliable and organised individual to join our team as an Operations Coordinator

This role is a key role in supporting the dynamic and friendly team, assisting to deliver exceptional service to our customers and clients and keeping our drivers busy and safe.

Day to day this role involves the overall operations coordination of the Gladstone depot, including scheduling driver and sub-contractor runs, pickups and deliveries, customer service, processing run sheets, emails and scheduling vehicle services and supporting the team in all administration tasks.

This role is Monday to Friday.

What you'll be responsible for

  • Accountable for accurate and timely invoicing and reporting

  • Driver supervision and management

  • Scheduling daily runs, coordinating pickups and deliveries

  • Processing runsheets and waste certificates

  • Monitoring driver fatigue and safety

  • Liaising with workshop and manager regarding vehicle breakdowns and defects.

  • Meeting customer demands and expectations

What you'll need to be successful

  • Demonstrable experience in Logistics, coordination or scheduling

  • Proficiency in Google platform (desirable)

  • People, relationship and communication skills

  • Ability to work accurately with a strong attention to detail
