WhatYou’llDo
AsanOperations Coordinator,you will work within the Office of Prevention ServicesThe position serves in an assigned county,representingTallahassee. The position reviews andcompletethe Department of Juvenile Justice’s Central Communications within the Office of Prevention Services, responsible for reviewing CCC incidents assigned to Prevention and update from contract providers,determineif an administrative program review isrequired Assists, when necessary, in carrying out duties and responsibilities of other Prevention ServicesThis position requires a flexible work schedule due to some weekends andafter hours(evening) work

Day-to-day,you’llbe responsible for

  • Reviews and complete the Department of Juvenile Justice's Central Communications Center incidents within the Office of Prevention Services, responsible for reviewing all CCC incidents assigned to Prevention and update from contract providers,determineif an administrative program review isrequired

  • Reviews provider deficiencies in PMM (Program Monitoring and Management) and makes recommendations based on policies and procedures.Assistsin resolving deficiencies placed in PMM (Program Monitoring and Management).

  • Communicates effectively with providers external to the Program,maintaininga positive and collaborative working relationship with the Office of Inspector General.

  • Provides technicalassistanceas the Office of Prevention Services liaison between the Department and providers.

  • Provides technicalassistance, training, consultative services and direction for development, implementation,evaluationand expansion of programs of service in public agencies and local governments.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
