Powerhouse Arts is a not-for-profit established to create a robust platform for art production and employment in the arts. Powerhouse Arts’ programming includes education, employment opportunities, and public engagement to increase access and opportunity for participation in the arts for all New Yorkers. Our organization recently relocated to our permanent home, which houses fabrication services, production spaces, member workshops for artisans, and more. As the organization continues to grow and expand its impact, we are also growing our team by hiring for key roles to support our expanding offerings.
Powerhouse Arts is seeking an Operations Coordinator to join our growing team. This role supports day-to-day operations, including PHA programming, fabrication services, and broader operational needs. Reporting to and working closely with the Operations Manager, this position also partners with the Facilities, Events, and Cleaning teams. The ideal candidate is adaptable, enjoys wearing many hats, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while tackling both large and small challenges. We welcome candidates from all backgrounds and value non-traditional career paths, especially those who have demonstrated the ability to keep operations running smoothly and effectively.

Compensation & Benefits:
Salary range is $55,000-$60,000 and commensurate with experience. Benefits include health insurance, an employer-sponsored retirement plan, generous paid vacation, and a Citibike membership.
