About the Role:

The Operations Coordinator role will support the end-to-end operations of the organisation. This role will be exposed to many areas of our business where no two days will be the same, so if you love variety and have a can-do attitude, this is the role for you!

Reporting to the Head of Operations and working with a lovely team, this role combines office support with administrative and project assistance. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Administration

  • Provide general administrative support across all teams.
  • Prepare and update reports, basic Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, and other required documentation.
  • Organise travel arrangements and itineraries.
  • Assist with planning and delivery of stakeholder events.

Team & Project Support

  • Provide assistance to different AusIMM teams during peak periods, staff absences, or when additional support is required.
  • Contribute to special projects and key deliverables across multiple teams as directed.

Office Support

  • Oversee office facilities by coordinating maintenance and repairs, managing kitchen supplies, and ensuring meeting rooms are prepared, including arranging catering as required.
  • Act as the first point of contact for general office queries and support.
  • Maintain a tidy and professional office environment, including light tasks such as ensuring the kitchen area is neat and the dishwasher is unpacked when needed.

About You:

We’re looking for our next superstar Administrator who is ready to learn from colleagues and use their initiative to provide excellent administration support across the organisation. You will be joining an enthusiastic, friendly, and hard-working team within a business that welcomes your ideas and supports your career.

Not only will you be a self-motivated team player, but you will have:

  • Minimum of two years’ work experience, including at least one year in an office environment.
  • Demonstrated administration skills and great attention to detail.
  • Solid experience using office software such as the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Exposure to event management platforms (EventsAir, CAMS) will be advantageous.
  • Ability to show flexibility in taking on new projects, various work situations and challenges.
  • Solid organisational and time-management skills, with proven ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • A desire to embrace system and process improvement.
  • Ideally, you will have relevant experience working in a multi-faceted role.
