About the role:

Operations Compliance Specialist serves as the compliance authority within the operations department, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. Comply and ensure compliance to cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices), Quality standards, financial controls, EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) policies, guidelines and requirements as applicable by Haleon Corporate Policies.

Role responsibilities:

  • Perform timely d-MERP/SAP transactions and maintain accurate Production Master Data.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve system issues.

  • Manage master data updates, access requests, and support complete d-MERP execution activities, including BMR/BPR uploading, revisions, and handling for production processes.

  • Demonstrate strong working knowledge of key operational and compliance systems, including: VEEVA Quality Docs, Ariba, CMMS, and Galaxy.

  • Ensure smooth month-end closing for Finance.

  • Generate system/manual reports and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production performance reports.

  • Maintain the departmental dashboard, track progress on objectives and KPIs, and ensure strong follow-up to drive performance and accountability.

  • Ensure compliance across all streams including GMP, EHS, and Finance.

  • Drive continuous improvement by raising Events/deviations, ensuring audit readiness.

  • Investigate production issues through root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and lead deviation teams to meet system requirements.

  • Ensure compliance with Haleon Performance System (HAPS) with all applicable standards.

  • Ensure labor compliance within the department, including adherence to working hours regulations and proper management of overtime in line with company and legal requirements.

  • Report unsafe conditions and incidents, wear PPE, attend EHS training, and adhere to safe work procedures.

  • Ensure that the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) is thoroughly reviewed and kept up to date.

  • Production Compliance Specialist is responsible for regularly reviewing area-specific risks, updating and maintaining the Risk Register, and ensuring that compliance requirements are met. Additionally, they must develop and implement appropriate mitigation plans to address identified risks effectively.

  • Comply with QMS policies, cGMP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.

  • Ensure data integrity and adherence to QA/QC standards.

  • Own and maintain deviations, CAPAs, change controls, and events.

  • Ensure thorough documentation of protocols and risk assessments.

  • Conduct self-inspections, compliance audits, and process confirmations.

  • Develop inspection schedules and train teams for effective execution.

  • Ensure periodic review and compliance with the Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) process and verify that GOLA requirements are consistently met.

Candidate profile:

  • Pharm-D + MBA or bachelor's in science.

  • 5 or more years of experience

  • Experience in SAP-ERP and deep understanding of Pharmaceutical Production Operations

  • Experience in Manufacturing & Packaging process in Consumer Healthcare Plant management.
