Are you an experienced custody professional ready to step into a role with real impact, both in daily operations and in shaping the future of our Nordic services?

We are looking for an experienced Operations & Client Services Lead to join our Custody Services team in a full-time, permanent position.

This is a key expert role in which you will be responsible for ensuring the high‑quality delivery and continuity of the team’s operational activities. You will play an important role in developing and ensuring the smooth execution of daily operational services and back‑office functions for international custody clients, working alongside a close‑knit team of experienced custody professionals who value collaboration, trust and shared ownership, and with whom you will solve complex topics together, day by day.

Your responsibilities

As an Operations & Client Services Lead, you will combine hands-on custody expertise with a broader responsibility for service quality, collaboration and continuous improvement across the team

In this role you will:

  • Handle daily operational back-office tasks, including:
    • Settlement services
    • Corporate actions
    • Income processing
    • Tax corrections and tax reporting activities
  • Participate in complex client-facing work and collaborate with key stakeholders, as well as team-impacting projects
  • Develop processes and ways of working while ensuring quality and supporting risk management
  • Share expertise and mentoring team members

Working hours are flexible; however, during our service hours (9:00–17:00), we ensure adequate team availability. The role also includes TARGET days, meaning we remain operational on certain local holidays to support international banking markets and euro settlement, as well as occasional weekend testing activities.

What We Are Looking For

  • A relevant university degree and several years of experience in similar roles within financial markets
  • Strong expertise in key areas of securities custody, particularly corporate actions, income processing and tax reporting
  • Solid understanding of market practices, processes and the roles of different market participants
  • Experience with financial systems (e.g. SWIFT and CSD systems) is considered an advantage
  • Ability to work independently, make decisions and take ownership
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a development-oriented mindset
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to provide expert guidance and support to the team
  • Attentive to details, customer-oriented, and with positive and proactive working attitude
  • A solution-oriented and flexible attitude in a changing environment
  • Fluency in Finnish and English.
