Job Description

We are seeking an Operations Buyer to support plant operations by managing supplier relationships, resolving issues, and supporting procurement strategies. This role also handles indirect purchasing needs not covered by existing contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage indirect procurement and implement regional contracts
  • Support category strategies and cost-saving initiatives
  • Monitor supplier performance (quality, cost, delivery)
  • Handle supplier escalations and resolve issues
  • Maintain accurate pricing and updates in ERP systems
  • Support engineering changes impacting production parts

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of procurement experience (automotive preferred)
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Dynamics 365) and Excel
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and supplier management

Education:

  • Degree in Business or Technical field (or equivalent experience)
