Job Description

Job Title: Operations Associate
Job Type: Part-time / Remote
Work Hours: 20 hours per week – 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM ET (daily). Training hours initially in EST before transitioning to the regular schedule.


We’re helping our client find an Operations Associate to support daily logistics and operational processes. In this role, you will handle transaction processing, freight tracking, and warehouse coordination while supporting cross-functional communication with internal teams and shipping partners.

Responsibilities:

  • NetSuite Transactions - Item receipts, assembly builds, transfer orders.
  • Warehouse receiving of finished goods. Daily receiving reporting.
  • PR/Internal order processing and management. Cross functional communication with Merit personnel and warehouses/shipping carriers.
  • Daily freight tracking with status reporting.
  • Potential additional duties depending on bandwidth.

Requirements

Must-Have:

  • 2 years of experience
  • Familiarity with NetSuite
  • International and US domestics freight management experience including ocean, air, and road
  • International CPG experience
  • Proficient in English (verbal and written)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite and Google Docs/Drive - especially with excel/Sheets.
  • Ability to work PT. Hours for training: EST moving to 7am - 11am everyday et
  • Comfortable to speak on the phone (may need Google telephone # to call small parcel carriers like FedEx, UPS, DPD, DHL, etc.)

Nice-to-Have:

  • French, Italian, Spanish or Dutch a plus.
