This is an execution-focused role. The Operations Assistant works alongside the General Manager and leadership team to ensure that the many operational details required to run a successful KidStrong center are completed accurately, consistently, and on time.
The Operations Assistant will support membership and scheduling systems, family service, center readiness, reporting, inventory, facilities, events, and other day-to-day operational needs.
This person should be proactive, solution-oriented, and relentless about following work through to completion.
Key Responsibilities

Our coaches can coach, and our families receive a Premier World-Class KidStrong Experience.
- Complete recurring administrative tasks accurately and on schedule, including membership management, member service experiences, daily KPI reporting, billing support, and center documentation.
- Maintain accurate membership and scheduling information to support a seamless family experience.
- Respond to routine family questions and requests, assist with membership and scheduling needs, and ensure unresolved concerns are tracked and escalated appropriately.
- Build strong relationships with KidStrong families and support proactive member-retention efforts.
- Support the operational side of trials, enrollments, member onboarding, and other family follow-up processes.
- Maintain assigned operational trackers, dashboards, checklists, and reports; flag missed targets, unusual activity, or operational concerns to leadership.
- Help ensure the center is clean, organized, stocked, and ready for families each day.
- Manage center-level inventory and supply counts, identify upcoming needs, and help prevent shortages.
- Identify facility and maintenance needs, coordinate approved vendors or repairs as assigned, and track open items through completion.
- Assist with Open Houses, camps, community activations, special events, and other center initiatives, including preparation, execution, and post-event follow-through.
- Attend team and leadership meetings as required and support center-level initiatives, training, and brand consistency.
Schedule Expectations
This position requires 30-34 hours per week and will be center-based. Because KidStrong serves families outside traditional business hours, availability must include a combination of weekdays, evenings, and weekends based on center needs.
The weekly schedule will be designed to provide consistency while maintaining the flexibility required for center operations, camps, events, and other business needs.
Qualifications
- Prior customer service experience in health and fitness, retail, hospitality, youth programming, or another fast-moving service environment preferred.

- Customer-service and solution-oriented mindset in all communications and interactions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, use time efficiently, and follow work through to completion.
