Minimum Requirements:

• Matric
• Logistics degree of equivalent
• Must be SA resident
• Must have at least 5-10 years in logistics / operations
• Must be able / willing to travel to either Jhb or Musina for relief duties
• Language Shona an advantage but not requirement
• Must have valid drivers license

Responsibilities:

• Planning / Executing Loading of Trucks
• Ensuring vehicles are offloaded timeously
• Ensuring vehicles are loaded within time frame
• Issuing of loading equipment prior to loading
• Communicating any delays on groups
• Reporting of breakdowns and assisting in resolving mechanical issues
• Administration Duties
• Completing of driver trip sheets
• Compiling of fuel orders and issuing of them
• Issuing loading instructions and documents if required
• Ordering and issuing of Hazchem stickers
• Delivering of invoices and pod's if required
• Applying for Port permits and keeping records of permits and BAT number per fleet number
• Collecting, checking and scanning of PODs to Head Office.
• Customer relations
• Maintaining and establishing customer relations on ground level
• Reduce the delays at loading and offloading points
• Ensuring a professional and efficient service to our customers.
• Manifests and Export Documents
• To ensure all manifest are created and sent to the borders for pre-clearing
• To obtain all the export documents before vehicles are loaded, where possible
• Ensure all the export documents correspond with the manifests
• Attending to and resolving of document and manifest queries;
• Reports Daily / Weekly / Monthly
• Compiling of refuel reports for Cato Ridge and Richards Bay to be submitted to Johannesburg and Harare and updating of the WSS system on a daily basis
• Preparing of truck parking reports and submitting to JHB
• Preparing of monthly company vehicle km, fuel and maintenance report
• Updating manifests on the WSS system with offloading dates, kilometers and waybill number
• Operational Support
• Sending of vehicle details as and when required
• Assisting with customer queries and sending of information
• Convoy Monitoring / Checks
• Monitoring of convoys from Musina to Durban
• Liaise with security team in the event of any issues
