Job Description

Essential Job Functions:

  • Assist Freight Department with various tasks: shipment follow up / track and trace; creating shipments in the operational system; accepting pre alerts, issuing payment requisitions to vendors, among others;
  • Assist Billing Department with various tasks: building Billing Packets, uploading “Proof of Invoice” in the operations system;
  • Ensure that any issues that arise are escalated in an efficient manner to the management team;
  • Proactively monitor exception reports milestones/missing pre-alerts within the life cycle of a shipment;
  • Use the tools, checklist, and system as per assigned by the station management to ensure process quality and visibility;
  • Report to the management team in advance about any process that is out of scope or process that needs to be addressed by the management team after regular working hours, holidays and/or weekend;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Other Skills & Abilities:

  • Good written and oral communication skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or GED;
  • 0 - 2 or more years industry related experience.
