A cross-functional lead driving development of online eye measurement solutions (self-refraction and centration) to enable direct-to-consumer sales of vision correction for extended reality devices. This role combines optometry expertise, technical product development, and business acumen to launch robust, accurate, scalable online vision measurement services.
Your profile
Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field from a top-tier international university. Desirable certifications include Project Management credentials such as PMP, IPMA, PRINCE2, or equivalent.
Professional experience within the consumer electronics or ophthalmic industry, ideally focused on New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives, with over 2 years of technical expertise managing complex, fast-paced projects.
Proven ability to deliver on strategic and operational goals within time-sensitive environments. Demonstrates a high degree of independent, structured work in dynamic settings.
Strong analytical skills evidenced by previous projects, with expertise in resolving complex problems using personal experience, analytical tools, and advanced research methodologies to achieve optimal outcomes.
Strong understanding of end-to-end operations processes including procurement, production planning, logistics, IT, and quality management.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of interfacing confidently with senior and executive levels. Maintains high resilience and a positive professional attitude under prolonged pressure.
Demonstrated ability to conduct statistical analyses for data-driven decision-making and product validation. Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
Exposure to international environments and willingness to travel internationally to coordinate with production sites and partners in Asia and the US.
