Bring precision and partnership to daily trading operations that help investors stay on track. In this role, you will be part of a team that supports accurate trade processing, timely issue resolution, and disciplined reconciliation. You will collaborate across stakeholders to investigate breaks, reduce errors, and improve controls. As a Mutual Fund Trade Processing Analyst in TBD team name, you will process mutual fund transactions, reconcile cash and positions, and resolve daily trade and settlement issues to support accurate and timely outcomes for investors. You will partner with internal stakeholders to investigate breaks, complete corrections, and maintain strong process controls across the trade lifecycle.

Job responsibilities

  • Process mutual fund orders, including current-day and as-of-date transactions
  • Execute same-day trade cancellations for subscriptions and redemptions, when applicable
  • Calculate and process manual corrections for identified trading errors, following established procedures
  • Partner with investors and internal stakeholders to resolve daily trading issues and inquiries
  • Investigate discrepancies in trade processing and settlement records, documenting findings and outcomes
  • Perform cash and position reconciliations for current and prior-day settlements
  • Verify that trades and settlements are accurately reflected across records and systems
  • Manage daily and monthly dividend settlement processing for mutual funds
  • Reconcile dividend settlement differences and drive timely resolution of breaks
  • Follow defined controls and escalation steps to support consistent, accurate processing

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Experience processing or supporting mutual fund subscriptions and redemptions
  • Ability to perform cash and position reconciliations and investigate breaks to root cause
  • Ability to calculate and process manual corrections for operational errors using defined procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally with internal stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet time-sensitive deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of end-to-end process flows and basic technology concepts that support operations workflows
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and a control-oriented approach to operational risk management
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team to deliver daily processing outcomes

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Experience supporting dividend settlement processing for mutual funds
  • Experience resolving trade processing exceptions through investigation, documentation, and follow-up
  • Familiarity with operational controls, checklists, and reconciliation governance practices
  • Experience partnering with multiple stakeholder groups to resolve time-sensitive issues
  • Experience identifying process gaps and contributing to workflow improvements
