Join us at Barclays as an Operations Analyst. In this role, you will support business areas with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, issue resolution, and operational activities. You will play an important role in ensuring processes are completed accurately and efficiently, while delivering a high level of service to stakeholders and customers across the organisation.
The role involves working closely with a range of internal stakeholders to provide specialist support, manage operational processes, and help identify opportunities for continuous improvement. You will be responsible for ensuring activities are completed to a high standard, supporting risk and control requirements, and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working in a fast-paced environment, and taking ownership of operational processes.
To be successful as an Operations Analyst you should have:
Experience supporting operational processes within a financial services or corporate environment.
Strong stakeholder and customer service skills, with the ability to provide specialist advice and support.
Experience performing prescribed operational activities accurately, within agreed timelines and service standards.
The ability to take ownership of specific processes within a team and ensure delivery to a consistently high standard.
Knowledge and experience of Know Your Customer (KYC) processes, including customer due diligence and regulatory requirements.
Some other highly valued skills/experience include:
Identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations to enhance operational processes and efficiencies.
Developing and implementing operational procedures and controls to mitigate risk and maintain operational effectiveness.
Producing reports and presentations on operational performance and communicating findings to senior stakeholders.
Experience working within a strong risk and control environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in the role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, alongside role-specific technical skills.
This role will be based in Northampton.
