Job Description

LGT Wealth Management was formed around a clear and uncompromising vision – to bring global best practice in building institutional quality investment portfolios to Australian clients.

With a shared passion for building an uncompromised business – we created something new from the ground up. A chance to leave behind the things that weren’t working, while enhancing the things that were. Our authentic and personalised client-first commitment. Our entrepreneurial spirit. Our focus in best-in-class advice. And our intimate understanding of the Australian private wealth landscape.

In 2022 we became a part of the LGT Group, who shared our entrepreneurial spirit, long-term approach and private-ownership model. Today, with the global expertise, stability, and capability of LGT behind us, we can work without being reliant on markets or margins, with a singular focus on giving our clients the advice and deep expertise they need for generations to come.

As an Operations Analyst within the Cash, Fees and Reconciliations team, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity and efficiency of cash and asset movements across a sophisticated client base.

This is a fantastic opportunity to build your career within a business that values innovation, teamwork, and long-term growth.

Please note, this is a 12-month fixed term opportunity.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage daily cash operations, including payments, receipts and liquidity across multi-currency accounts

  • Perform end-to-end cash and asset reconciliations, ensuring discrepancies are investigated and resolved promptly

  • Process and oversee fees for assets under management with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness

  • Support funding activities and coordinate with external vendors and custodians

  • Investigate and resolve alerts relating to suspicious transactions

  • Maintain and enhance reconciliation control frameworks, escalating issues where required

  • Partner with advisers and internal stakeholders to support client trading and cash management activities

  • Ensure adherence to compliance, risk policies and regulatory requirements at all times

About You

  • 2+ years’ experience in financial services operations, ideally within wealth or asset management

  • Strong understanding of Australian financial markets and investment operations

  • Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with a methodical approach to problem-solving

  • A proactive, self-starting mindset with the ability to manage shifting priorities

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

  • A resilient team player who thrives in a collaborative, high-performing environment

  • Degree qualified in Finance, Business or Commerce (or similar)

Why You’ll Love This Role

  • Be part of a collaborative and supportive team that values shared success and continuous improvement

  • Gain exposure to complex operations, global markets and high-net-worth client portfolios

  • Enjoy an environment that encourages innovation, ownership and professional excellence

LGT Wealth Management is committed to the ongoing development of their employees. Your development will be managed and tailored to your role and future career path.
