As an Operations Analyst, you act as a financial partner to the operations teams. You contribute to the analysis of financial results, monitor production performance, and support the optimization of the plant’s decision‑making processes.
Prepare and analyze monthly financial results (labour, manufacturing overhead, inventories, raw materials)
Contribute to the development of plant budgets, track hours worked, and analyze variances
Maintain and ensure the reliability of key performance indicators (KPIs)
Support plant teams with their financial needs (project analyses, monthly reports, ad hoc requests)
Collaborate closely with the Controller on various financial and operational initiatives
Actively participate in continuous improvement projects, including automation, optimization, and harmonization of financial tools
What we are looking for to deliver these results:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration – Accounting specialization
CPA designation (completed or in progress)
3 to 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment and/or cost accounting
Experience with an ERP system (SAP is a strong asset)
Strong advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, advanced functions, Power Query is an asset)
