Job Description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Manager routing and dispatching of local drivers, and 3rd Party carriers on brokered loads.
  • Performs data entry POD, rate information to the orders, and reporting on time service internally and externally.
  • Prepares standard reports and spreadsheets
  • Collects, organizes, records, files call sheets and other pertinent information.
  • Performs billing duties and handles specific operations invoicing.
  • Other duties as assigned

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Ability to operate standard office equipment including fax, copier, personal computer, scanners, etc.
  • Good computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to pay attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, hands-on environment.

EDUCATION AND DIRECT WORK EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or GED is required
  • Three or more years' experience in customer relations.
  • 1 - 2 years of experience in Ocean Import and Air Import Required
  • Knowledge and experience in the Trucking industry and driver regulations is a plus.
