Kaiser Aluminum Alexco Chandler Arizona located 6520 W Allison Rd, Chandler, AZ is seeking an Operations Administrator to join our team in a fast-paced aluminum extrusion facility. What you will work on:

  • Assists in all areas of administration.
  • Communicate with internal & external personnel on any matter relevant to your job function;
  • (phone, e-mail, in person, by mail; etc.) as long as the communication does not violate Kaiser Aluminum’s Code of Conduct.
  • Answer all incoming phones and direct callers to their destination or take messages as
  • necessary.
  • Provides information & support for upper management and other office personnel as
  • directed.
  • Prepare, file, and maintain customer file folders.
  • Final Document Review: Perform as necessary on customer orders. Final inspection is an
  • essential review performed to catch any mistake that may have occurred throughout the
  • organization.
  • Invoicing: Prepare accurate invoices & shipping documents when customer orders are
  • shipping.
  • Prepare orders for scanning.
  • Scan & Save orders and/or other documents completely and accurately. This is critical as all
  • file documents are shredded and the scanned file is the only reference to that file.
  • Follow applicable Environmental, Quality, & Safety documents, if not valid notify the
  • appropriate personnel.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications

What you will bring to the role:

  • Must possess an associate's degree in business or applicable field.
  • Minimum of three years of relevant professional experience may be substituted for formal education.
  • Have good communication skills (phone, e-mail, in person, by mail; etc.).
  • Have good computer and typing skills.
  • Understand standard office procedures and practices.
  • Have good organizational skills.
  • Be able to manage time well.
  • Attention to detail is critical due to the nature of the job.
