About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi

We have two permanent opportunities to join ACC as an Operations Administrator within our Levy Administration team based in Wellington.

In this role, you will manage high-volume transactional processing for business customer policies, including applications, changes, payments, and account updates, ensuring accurate levy administration and supporting positive outcomes for customers across Aotearoa.

You’ll play a pivotal role in processing business customer transactions, resolving queries, and supporting online services, contributing to keeping Kiwis safe at work, at home, and everywhere in between.

The indicative starting salary for this role is $60,486 ACC offers a comprehensive benefits package which at present includes an advantageous superannuation scheme ( 9% contribution) with features like no mandatory employee contribution, optional life and income protection insurance.

About you | Mōu

You will bring:

  • Strong administrative experience with high-volume data processing and attention to detail
  • Customer service experience, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally across a range of interactions
  • Experience or confidence in making outbound calls to customers and handling challenging conversations with professionalism
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy, resilience, and focus
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to follow processes and identify escalation points appropriately
  • A proactive and collaborative approach, contributing positively to team outcomes
  • Confidence using computer systems and digital tools in a fast‑paced environment
